Grindleford Higger Tor 29th August 2019

This was a new walk which started from Grindleford Station.


The route was clockwise from Grindleford Station --> Bolehill Wood --> Bolehill Quarry --> Surprise View car Park --> Over Owler Tor --> Higger Tor--> Carl Wark Fort--> Toads Mouth--> Padley Gorge--> Grindleford.

A nice cup of tea and a cake at the station cafe rounded off a terrific new walk which I will do again.

About 6 miles. OS OL1 and OL24.
