Blakey ridge to Grosmont.
My favorite day so far. Weather perfect, way finding easy, good paths, gentle gradients downwards, and a comfortable distance at 13.5 miles.
After meeting up with Anne again, we had a lovely evening at the Lion inn, and before setting off Anne kindly sorted out my latest blister which was under my right foot and quite painful. In the car was a pair of Altra 9s which I had planned to use in the evenings while Anne was with me, but I opted to use these for today's walk, and this proved to be a good decision.
