In preparationn for the Hadrians Wall Trail at the end of July I aimed at walking at least 50 miles per week , and on some walks with a weighted rucksack. So in the 4 weeks leading up to the HW trail I did a mix of walks each day including :-
- Derby - Smalley
- Shining Cliff Woods
- Horsley Castle
- Smalley - Heanor and back via Shipley Park.
- Various looks around Shipley Park
