Nice to spend the evening with Anne in the Shepherds Hut. Good nights sleep. Up early and a light breakfast and then off for 7:30 for the final day of the trek.
First part of the walk was along field edges , through some hamlets and some road walking.

He ducked into a hedge once he realised he was hopping towards me ! |

The second part of the walk after passing close to thr RAF station at Staxton Wold became more interesting and up and down as I crossed down and up a series of dales, and along the bottom of one.

As I was approaching Muston I became really tired and wanted to stop, but there was a series of livestock fields to cross with no where sensible to stop. Eventually on the outskirts of Muston I found a bench and stopped for a well deserved rest . I necked a large can of monster energey drink, which seemed to do the trick. Eventually I got to the edge of Filey and started some road walking down to the cetre. First fish and chip shop I stopped for a late lunch ....lovely. Then it was a case of walking along the front to Filey Brigg and the end of the walk. After that I met up with Anne and we checked into the campsite....and then (despite being knackered) we went for a walk. After more fisha nd chips we headed back to the campsite for our first night in the campervan. The bedding we brought was insufficient, so we had a chilly night.

Another great day. 18 Miles.
Overall the trail was terrific, and apart from a slight wobble after day 2(i.e. was my ankle up to the rest of the walk?) I enjoyed every mile.
