Base Brown (Fail) 29 April 2019

First day of a trip to the Lakes. I drove up in the morning and arrived at Seathwaite Farm campsite around 2.00. Once I had set up I decided there was plenty of time to do a there and back walk to Base Brown, as the start of the walk was seconds away from where we were camped.

Near the top of the falls the path disappears and there is about a 30 foot scramble. Unfortunately due to the nature of it it wasn't possible for Meg to get part this obstacle. We got part way up and then had to back uou back down to the valley. Next time I'll attempt this fell from Honnister Hause.

Sour Milk Gill next to the path

It took a while for Meg to figure this stile out

We had a nice break in the sun next to the footbridge after coming down
