Lathkilldale August 26th 2020

It's a while since I last posted. I have been doing plenty of local walking with Meg, but no full on hikes, so it was great to get out into the White Peak with Ben and Rowan, my oldest and youngest sons. Ben suggested this one so it was a nice break to let someone else do the map reading.

The walk started from a car park at Coldwell end on the edge of Youlgrave village.

Turning left from the  car park we had a short walk along the road before taking the footpath which dropped down to the River Bradford. From there we followed the route above anticlockwise all the way along Lathkilldale to Cale Dale. The pic quality isn't as good as normal. I was using my (light) compact Richo rather than the usual (heavy) Panasonic Lumix.
